The adjacent images and drawings show our planning application option of this mixed-use development in Windsor consisting of a two bedroom townhouse, one bedroom flat, and studio flat over existing retail space at ground floor level.

Preserving the integrity of the Victorian terrace and listed elevation to Peascod Street while maximising the massing potential of the architecturally diverse 3-4 storey context of Charles Street, the proposed one bedroom flat is located in the existing ceiling void and unused storage space above the commercial unit, while a second and third floor are added to the rear section accommodating the studio flat and townhouse.

Our contemporary design response, in a simply composed form incorporating carefully proportioned and subtly detailed elements, offers a new frontage to Charles Street inviting similarly ambitious responses from neighbouring properties.
